Draft mission for the neighborhood association
The Southside Community is two historical neighborhoods (St. Theresa & Southside) working together to:
- Beautify the neighborhoods
- Increase home ownership
- Assure the availability of affordable, livable rental property
- Empower residents and home owners to work with the city and county government on issues of code enforcement and infrastructure improvements
- Work collectively with development organizations like Self Help and Habitat to ensure that new development considers the needs of all the residents.
